EWP OVERHEAD WARNING SYSTEM
A supporting safety device facilitating the safe operation of elevated work platforms (EWP) reducing the risk of coming into contact with overhead objects.
GLOBAL
ProxyVolt's HTX System, is widely used around the world for its ability to increase safety in tough environments. It's been implemented by major mining companies within North America and Asia to provide their workers with a safer work environment.
Acknowledge Button
The acknowledge button assembly is mounted adjacent to the platform controller and displays the status of the HTX system. The acknowledge button is pressed following the detection of an overhead obstruction to enable the operator to continue extension and movement of the platform in an attentive manner.
HTX System
The HTX system monitors the photoelectric distance sensors. If an overhead obstruction is detected within the set sensor range the HTX system will shut down movement of the elevated work platform.
Sensors
The platform mounted photoelectric distance sensors are encased within heavy duty brackets and positioned at opposite corners of the work platform.
Sensor Detection Range
The detection range of the photoelectric distance sensors is fully adjustable, with a default of 2000mm.
